BEES BREAK GROUND ON NEW BALLPARK
The Larry H. Miller Company broke ground on a brand-new ballpark for the Salt Lake Bees that will anchor an exciting new sports and entertainment district at the heart of Downtown Daybreak in South Jordan, Utah.
SALT LAKE CITY NAMED FAVORITE FOR MLB EXPANSION
Expansion talks are ramping up and while a clear favorite is emerging in the East, many agree that Salt Lake City is pulling ahead in the West.

SALT LAKE CITY “ON THE ROAD” TO HOSTING SECOND WINTER OLYMPICS
The International Olympic Committee voted to award both the 2030 and 2034 Olympic Winter Games together next year after learning that Salt Lake City, the American bid city for an upcoming Winter Games, is the sole candidate looking to host in 2034.
UTAH NAMED THE HAPPIEST STATE IN THE NATION
WalletHub, an award-winning personal finance company, released its annual ranking of all 50 states by happiness rate. The study examined each state across 30 relevant metrics and ranked Utah at the top of the list for the second time in three years.
FASTER GAMES PRODUCE RECORD ATTENDANCE
This season, MLB implemented new rules to elevate the fan experience with more action and a faster pace of play. Attendance skyrocketed as a result, and the league enjoyed its highest total attendance growth since the 1998 expansion.
